Digital Light Processing Screen Image Setter from CST consists of the imaging system with the light imaging/exposing head and the separate operator station. |
The CST Digital Light Processing Screen Image Setter utilizes Texas Instrument’s DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) semiconductor technology which eliminates consumables (such as wax or ink and) as well as time-consuming print head replacement with the associated re-calibration and lengthy test procedures. |
Precision manufacturing techniques assure perfect image placement, a prerequisite for photo-plotter like imaging quality of the CST Digital Light Processing Screen Image Setter. |
Finished screen without using consumables such as wax or ink and eliminating the extra screen making process of UV exposing. |
Sharp transition from negative to positive print image. CST offers Digital Light Processing units for 65, 90, and 110 line/inch resolutions at imaging/exposing speeds of as fast as 7 minutes for a 32 sq.ft. or 3 sq.meter image (optic and lens for 65 lines/in or 25 lines/cm — less than 15 minutes for 90 lines/in or 35 lines/cm). |
Direct-To-Screen imaging systems from CST are available up to 13’ x 26’ (4 x 8 meters) as shown in this photograph and can be delivered as ink, wax, or digital light screen imaging systems. CST screen imaging systems can be interchanged or upgraded at any later time. |
Extra-large screen imaged by CST Direct-To-Screen imaging system is being inspected. |
Smaller screen is being imaged on extra-large CST Direct-To-Screen imaging system. Operator station is conveniently located next to DTS system. |
